Construction Details
The pictures below demonstrate the large number of components that make up a classic George Washington clock. When reduced to its essential elements, a base sitting on four feet is surmounted by the Washington figure to the right of a rectangular clock case topped by an eagle. Depending upon the size of the clock as well as the desired customization, a variety of decorative elements are used which include plaques, medallions, draperies, all of which are affixed by rods and small screws.
